Facilities

We are proud to host Elite 150 Recruiting Camp on the beautiful campus of UC San Diego in La Jolla, CA.  Not only is San Diego a world class destination, but Elite 150 campers and staff enjoy extremely close proximity to fields, dorm and dining hall making for A+ quality of life.

15 min from San Diego International airport and some of the world's best beaches and surfing, La Jolla is a jewel of San Diego. Downtown La Jolla is a world renowned shopping and dining destination - this coastal town is located within two hours of Metro L.A. and Orange County, including several airports: LAX, LGB, ONT, SNA.​  Scripps Pier/Carolines Seaside Cafe and the Birch Aquarium at Scripps Institution of Oceanography are great on campus attractions.

A heavy concentration of Division 1, 2, 3 colleges are in the area, making for outstanding touring of all SCIAC schools + MPSF and WWLL schools. Parents and families have numerous opportunities  for lodging, dining and entertainment.  Also a short drive: Sea World, San Diego Zoo & Safari Park, Coronado, USS Midway, Disney, Universal Studios, Santa Monica, Beverly Hills, Burbank (tickets to Jay Leno & Ellen shows...)

ERC & Thurgood Marshall Dorm & Dining Hall.

 

"ERC" Eleanor Roosevelt College at UCSD has a view of the Pacific Ocean and is only a three minute walk to adjacent intercollegiate playing fields.  All meals and housing included.



Cafe Ventanas is a beautiful dining hall, right next to the dorm - excellent for maximizing down time.  The front steps are used as a camp meeting space and a great hang out spot.  Adjacent meeting rooms host our Recruiting & Admissions Seminar. 

 

*Accommodations for special diet requests must be made in writing prior to camp - please contact camp director 30 days before camp to start the process with UCSD dietician.

Intercollegiate Playing Fields.

 

Adjacent to the RIMAC center on the campus of UCSD, the large natural grass playing surface is used for all camp sessions.  Bathrooms are conveniently located to the field.​  Thurgood Marshall Dorm and Cafe Ventanas Dining Hall are a 5 minute walk west.  Game play and action can be viewed from the elevated walk ways of RIMAC field as well as the Glider Lounge (Peet's Coffee & Home Plate Restaurant, rising above the softball field.)



The Northpoint entrance off of Torrey Pines Rd is the closest campus entrance and provides the closest parking to the field.
